A witch is a 'specie' which not everyone can have due to the amount of power they have.
If interested please head to applications after reading this.
A witch may be a male or a female and although some witches claim to be Keepers of the Balance, others like to use witchcraft for their own personal benefit.
While some witches know complex magic, there are basics which all witches have:
Spell Casting - Witches have the ability to use incantations to change and control events.
Channeling - The power to invoke extra forms of energy by focusing on external forces.
Potion Brewing - Potions, remedies and elixers with supernatural properties are able to be brewed and concocted.
Witches may then develop another power after practicing it for a long time and only one may be chosen:
Telekinesis - Witches have the power to move objects and people with their mind.
Pyrokinesis - Witches have the power to create, control, and manipulate fire.
Aerokinesis - Witches have the power to control and manipulate the air.
Geokinesis - Witches have the power to control and manipulate the earth.
Hydrokinesis - Witches have the power to control and manipulate water.
Pain Infliction - Witches have the power to inflict great pain onto a person by causing their blood vessels to burst and thus giving them multiple aneurysms.
Empathy - Witches have the power to identify the emotions of another person.
Mediumship - Witches have the power to commune with the spirits of the dead.
Premonitions - Witches have the power to divine through the observation and study of dreams.
The weaknesses of any witch is the same as that of a human as they have no immortality what so ever.
However there are other ways which a witch can be weakened or killed due to their magic.
Distraction: Any person, substance, or thing that prevents a witch from giving full attention to their spells can hinder a witch from effectively practicing witchcraft.
Fear: A distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; the condition or feeling of being afraid could cause a witch to involuntarily block their own powers for a short time.
Overexertion: The excessive use of magic could lead to disorientation, nose bleeds, unconsciousness, and if taken to the extreme, death.
To become a Witch, a person must be born as one - usually from a family line of Witches whether it be one side of the family or the whole family.
